“The town and services are just on the other side of the river. Located just 2 miles down a well kept, dirt road, the lodge is secluded and quiet. Beautiful lodge with a grand open area with fireplace and sitting rooms. Breakfast was self serve and abundant. Very clean, everyone is asked to remove your shoes before entering the lodge, with slippers available. Definately recommend!”

“Best location! Walkable to the little downtown, the bridge and 5 minute walk to grocery store and so many amazing restaurants! Staff was amazing! Looks like they continue to renovate. We loved our experience- definitely will be back. ”

“The Lodge and Lantern had come under new management just 3 days before and they did a wonderful job! The beds were great, the rooms were clean and the people were very courteous and friendly. I would love to go back some time and see everything the new owners have done to the place!”
