“Cool little hotel along the river in Golden. Right in the heart of downtown with several places to eat within steps of the hotel. Rooms all face the river and boardwalk which is nice. Self check-in is handy as room keys are in lockboxes on your door (they send you a code for the lockbox). I will stay here every time from now on. Room was spacious and recently renovated. Nice bathroom, a real working bar fridge. Patio for each room. Cool place and a little gem.”

“The view is spectacular. The pool and slide are fun and the restaurant is decent. The pizza is actually really amazing. Other than that… this place needs a lot of help. Every window screen was broken, the carpet felt old and dirty. The bathroom faucet was broken and sprayed everywhere. The hot tub jets didn’t work, the pool was probably too heavily chlorinated which made all of us cough just being in the room. But the kids had a blast on the slide. All in all, it’s a 2-3 out of 5. “This place is ideal if you know what you are in for. I appreciated the location, once I realised it was 22 km from Golden, up a soft dirt/gravel winding road, away from anything. I did not receive the email from the property advising me of all the details until after I arrived to check in, because I was away from wifi and cell signal. I did not know my room was open, and the details I needed (bring dinner or dinner supplies, for e.g.). Check in was therefore quite unpleasant, because I didn't...

“Nice reasonably- priced getaway outside of town with clean, comfortable rooms”

“It was not what I expected when I drove up to the property. But the staff and the property made for a very unique and comfortable stay. The staff makes you feel welcome in a cozy setting. Having a morning coffee in a quiet setting is what I needed. I will stay there again.”

“The outdoor and indoor pool were closed! Room was dirty and smelled really bad! We had to keep leaving the door open to air it out! Sparse towels, and hand soap and shampoo. No smoke detector in the room. Burn marks on the table broken lamp, and dirty walls and floors! kinda all together rundown. But the one hot tub that is working is very comfortable and clean.”

“Super clean, really nice room. We weren’t sure about the hot tub. It was self check in so no one to ask about it. It was covered behind a gate. Not a big deal but would be nice if there was a sign to let us know if we could use it.”
